director's biography: Ignotus is Max Bartoli’s first short film. Born in Italy, he has spent several years travelling and working in England and the US. He is also the author of two books, published in 1989 and 1991 and has worked as a director and executive producer for various advertising agencies in Italy and England since 1998, directing and/or producing sport videos, corporate and institutional videos, as well as TV commercials and documentaries.
